Refunds & Cancellation
Version 3.0In effectIndia
The short version
- You request a refund from your own order page and you are told at once, in writing, what the rules say you are eligible for.
- A person at ARISE then confirms the original payment in the bank and approves the payout. Approved refunds reach the account you paid from within 10 to 14 working days.
How to ask
Open the payment page link for your order and choose 'Request a refund'. You pick a reason, you may add a note, and the eligibility answer appears on the screen at once and by email.
You do not need to phone anyone, explain yourself to a counsellor, or argue your case.
Eligible in full
A payment made twice for the same order.
Any order where work had not yet started, whenever you ask.
A monthly membership cancelled within 72 hours of a charge; access stops on approval and nothing renews.
Any service we failed to deliver by the date we gave you.
Eligible in part
If work had already begun but was not yet delivered, half the amount is eligible as a rule.
If you tell us it should be more, a person reads it within 2 working days — and in practice we would rather refund than argue.
Read by a person instead of a rule
Work that was already delivered — a call held, a shortlist sent, documents reviewed — is not refundable by rule, because it cannot be returned. You can still ask, and a person answers within 2 working days.
Months of a membership already used are not refunded. The month you have paid for runs to its end.
Approval and when the money arrives
Every refund is approved by a person at ARISE after the original payment has been confirmed in our bank. This protects both sides: no refund is paid against a payment that never arrived.
Approved refunds are sent back to the account the payment came from, by bank or UPI transfer, and reach you within 10 to 14 working days. You get an email when the decision is made and again when the money leaves us.
UPI payments cannot be reversed by the system the way a card can, so the transfer is made by us by hand. If it has not reached you within 14 working days, reply to your refund email and we escalate it that day.
We do not deduct a handling charge from a refund. You get the amount approved.
What a refund does not cover
Fees charged by your own bank, card issuer or transfer service, and exchange-rate movement between the day you paid and the day you are refunded.
Money you paid to a university, a visa authority, a landlord or any third party. Those are theirs to refund under their own terms.
A visa refusal, an admission rejection or a change in a university's rules is not a failure of our service, and our services are never sold as a guarantee of any outcome.
Chargebacks and disputes
Please ask us first — the automatic answer is usually faster than a bank dispute.
If you are still unhappy, write to rakshith.p@ariseorg.com and we follow the grievance policy. Nothing here removes any right you have under Indian consumer law.
